HIGO TINTO and its protective and regenerative power on the liver

(Scientific studies on Opuntia Dillenii (HIGO TINTO) and liver/cirrhosis at the bottom of the page) Find out about the health benefits attributed to this fruit from the testimonials of the thousands of people who eat it every day here: ->  TESTIMONIALS

We often consume carcinogens and other compounds that can damage the liver without realising the damage they can cause. HIGO TINTO, or Indian lantern tea, helps prevent liver damage or may even correct it according to many studies of which some are listed at the bottom of this page. It contains many antioxidants that can reduce oxidative stress caused by such compounds in the liver. It exerts hepatoprotective activity, mainly by scavenging free radicals and increasing the body's antioxidant activity against these compounds.

Phytonutrients

Plant compounds such as betalains, carotenoids, lycopene, resveratrol and phytosterols are phytonutrients or phytochemicals that are thought to have health-protective properties. They are found in plants such as fruits and vegetables, for example Tuno Canarias HIGO TINTO, or in plant-based products such as tofu or tea. It is best to consume the phytochemicals in foods that contain them, for example TUNO TINTO FIG powder which is basically a dried fruit.

Please note: this product does NOT in any way replace medical therapy. Nor does it interrupt or in any way modify ongoing medical therapies.
